My Husband and I where married in a Heli-USA wedding in December 2011 organized by the WONDERFUL Lisa at A Special Memory Wedding Chapel. From start to finish A Special Memory Chapel offered us everything we ever dreamed our Las Vegas Elopement would be. I had done a TON of research before we left Canada for Las Vegas. I read THOUSANDS of reviews and in the end, decided not to pre-book anything. I wanted to make sure the Chapel that married us would NOT consider us another piece of meat Vegas bride and groom. We where offered a ride to a Special Memory directly after the Marriage License Bureau. (Normally not one to take rides from strangers, we went anyway, something about it just felt right) When we got there, I had a million questions and everyone there took the time to answer all of them. One of my main concerns about this chapel was the photography, because I had read the previous reviews here about poor quality and a looong wait time. Those MUST be one time scenarios, because we had our high quality picture CD the day after the weeding and Bobby our photographer did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING job! I didn't want cheezy 'normal' pictures and didn't get any. The thing to remember here is that you get what you pay for, if you choose a cheap wedding package you have the option to have pictures, but you get what you pay for. If you want High quality pictures, mention that to the staff, pay extra for one of their real photographers and you will NOT be disappointed!! I really disagree with previous posts that 250$ is a price to pay for a professional, that is nothing, be prepared to pay for your memories. (just my 2 cents) On our wedding day our beautiful and clean Limo arrived on time (even a little early), the driver even helped my husband fix his tie (he is a construction worker and never wears ties ;) When we arrived at the Heli-USA terminal we where greeted by our photographer Bobby and given champagne while we watched a safety video. After a couple photos in a few different places around the airport we met our Reverend Jim Hamilton, who was also AMAZING, even though we were his 65 000th-ish couple he treated us like we were his most important. After the wedding we popped by the Las Vegas sign for a couple pictures and then back to the hotel where we had a toast and delicious cake. The only complaint I could possibly have was the long wait time we waiting for our free ride back to the hotel after we had booked our wedding for the following day, we later found out this was because a bride had forgotten something and they had to turn around. In the end we were very well taken care of while we waited, with free champagne and the company of the nice people who work there. We also watched a lovely drive through wedding while we waited. We loved this place SO much our plan is to go back and renew our vows with their Elvis, who we met after the wedding while picking up our picture CD. THANK YOU everyone (ESPECIALLY LISA AND BOBBY) at A Special Memory Wedding Chapel. YOU MADE OUR DAY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!
